History : Tara was born and raised by a relatively large family in the city of Cork. Her mother always lamented their move in from the countryside, saying she hated all the hustle and business of the city, but her father had a job there, and Tara for one, loved it. Trips to the country were always horrendously boring to her. The second youngest of five siblings, Tara was the only girl and as much as her mother tried to make her into a little dress up doll after years and years of little boys, Tara herself had no interest in it. She would have much rather been out rough housing with her brothers, playing sports and getting dirty. And all of her mother's stern words were nowhere near strong enough to overcome Tara's headstrong will.

So Tara grew up doing for the most, what she would, when she would. She wouldn't necessarily seek out ways to make trouble, but if one was nice enough to easily present itself to her, and it seemed like something to get entertainment out of, then she wasn't going to pass it up. The only things she ever really disciplined herself towards were the things that she personally loved best, playing at sports (mostly soccer), and photography. She'd recieved a camera for a birthday when she was younger, and it always amused her to find interesting oddities, things no one else would have likely noticed, and capture them on film.

After the changes of a tomboy's body into that of a teenage girl's however, came other changes. During a sports tournament, what she percieved as a wrongful call against her team (though in reality it really had been her fault), a shouting match with the referee went bad when she flattened him to the ground, though not with a blow of fists. The man was unable to rise, or be picked up at all, until someone had the sense to drag Tara away. Other temper fueled occourances over the next few months led her parents, her father specifically as her mother refused to see what Tara had become, to seek help for their daughter, to try to find someone that would be able to help her control her powers and stop her from hurting people.

The place they decided upon, was Muir Island, and she was packed up and off to try to learn to contain herself, a prospect she is not really looking forward to.
